Provident Fund
Provident Fund registrations is mandatory for establishments having Salary / Wage limit upto Rs. 15,000 per month and establishment employees more than or equal to 10 employees.
Documents Required for Employer Registration –
- PAN issued by Income Tax Department in the name of Establishment. Copy has to be uploaded.
- In case of proprietorship, the PAN can also be in the name of proprietor.
- Documentary proof of address of the establishment. It can be a bank account/power connection/water connection or a license issued in the name of the establishment at the address declared. In case of a bank account, the pass book or the bank statement should not be more than 3 months old.
- Documentary proof of the date of setup of the establishment.
- In case the establishment is a Factory, Factory License issued by the competent authority.
- In cases where the establishment is not a factory, any license issued by an authority.
- Any document regarding the Ownership Type of the establishment.
- At least one bank account details. A scanned copy of the Cheque with the bank/branch and account number clearly visible details has to be uploaded.
- The person who is digitally signing the application must be employer of the establishment (digital signature required).
Documents Required for Employee Registration –
- At the time of joining the insurable employment, an employee is required to fill details.
- Postal Address details.
- Name of Nominee and family details.
- Grade of employee. (Unskilled, Semi, Skilled)
- Salary Sheet.
- Designation.
- ID proof. (Aadhar and PAN)
- Bank A/c number with IFS Code
Provident Fund Deposit & Return Filling Date
- 15th of every following month.
Employment State Insurance
Employee State Insurance registrations is mandatory for establishments having Salary / Wage limit upto Rs. 21,000 per month and establishment employees more than or equal to 20 employees.
Process of ESI Deduction
Employees Contribution – 1.75% Total Wages
Employers Contribution – 4.75% Total Wages
Documents Required for Employer Registration –
- Documents relating to the constitution of the Factory/Firm/Establishment.
- Evidence in support of the date of commencement of production/business/first sale.
- List of partners/ Directors with their addresses.
- Copy of the “PAN”.
- Address proof like pass port/voter identity card, month wise employment position etc. are the essential documents.
Documents Required for Employee Registration –
- At the time of joining the insurable employment, an employee is required to fill.
- Declaration Form (Form 1) and submit a family photo in duplicate to the employer, which is to be submitted to the ESI Branch Office by his employer.
- The employee is then allotted an insurance number for the purpose of his identification under the scheme and issued a temporary identity card for availing medical benefit for self and family for a period of three months.
- Thereafter, he is provided with a permanent photo identity card. A person once registered need not register again in case of change of employment. The same registration can be transferred from one place to the other.
